The mission of the Caribbean Shipwreck Research Institute, Inc., (CSRI) is to educate the public through exhibitions and educational programs about the submerged cultural resources of the region. The CSRI, a nonprofit organization was established to provide personnel and funds to locate, protect or recover, stabilize, preserve, and display submerged cultural resources from the region for the education of the general public. We currently have  facilities and equipment on loan to stabilize and preserve most types of artifacts recovered from a saltwater environment.
